  • We are proud of the fact that the new office building of Mehta Chambers at Jodhpur was inaugurated in the presence of none other than His Excellency Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Vice President of India in the year 2006 with huge gathering of lawyers and people from public life.
  • Mehta Chambers is successfully running Advocate Rajendra Mehta Memorial Trust which is a charitable trust and has been regularly sponsoring and conducting various moot court competitions, legal debates, law seminars in the Faculty of Law, University of Jodhpur and elsewhere.
  • Mehta Chambers through its trust is regularly conducting Memorial Lectures in the memory of Advocate Late Mr Rajendra Mehta. The first memorial lecture organized by the Trust in coordination of National University of Jodhpur (NLU) was delivered by Mr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Senior Advocate & M.P. This was organised in the Gracious presence of Hon’ble Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Justice Prakash Chandra Tatia, Chief Justice, Jharkhand High Court and many other Hon’ble Judges of Rajasthan High Court.
  • The Trust have already conducted All India Legal Essay competition in the memory of Late Mr Rajendra Mehta at Town Hall, Jodhpur. The prizes were awarded by His Excellency Justice Dalveer Bhandari, Judge, International Court of Justice, Hague, Hon’ble Justice Arun Kumar Mishra, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court and Hon’ble Justice Prakash Tatia, Chief Justice Jharkhand High Court. Mr Ramit Mehta was one of Jury members who checked the essays submitted by many students from all over the Country.
  • Mehta Chambers has got a News Letter published for the first time at the Law Faculty, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. This was decidated in the memory of Late Mr. Rajendra Mehta. Mr. Ramit Mehta was instrumental in getting this organized and published. This was released by Hon’ble Justice Vineet Kothari, Judge, Rajasthan High Court.
  • The Trust looks forward to constantly organize Legal seminars, moot court competitions, legal debates in future too.
  • Mr Ramit Mehta have been made the Representative of Jodhpur city of “Seth Anandji Kalyanji Trust” this is the biggest Jain Religious Trust in the Country and the same is responsible for upkeep and maintainance of various Renowned Jain Temples across the country. He was instrumental in getting sanctioning of funds for the purpose of construction and renovation of a Jain Temple at Borunda, Rajasthan. Mehta Chambers prepared the report for the same and got the necessary funds sanctioned from the “Seth Anandji kalyanji Trust”.
